Fun Outside

The kids love to go outside in the front yard and ask or rather beg to go out there pretty much every day. In the back yard I can just let 'em go out and do what they do, but going out front means very close adult supervision. So this evening while Charlie was home we took the kids out front. It is always fun to get some fresh air and spend some family time together. Drex got a go-kart from some friends of ours who had upgraded to a 4-wheeler and he has gotten really good at it, he can drift and do donuts without even flinching, it is so funny! Quin won't even touch it though, after he tried it once and got scared...that was it. The kids like to race us (running) and play tag. We must of looked like hicks out there with Charlie on a tractor racing Drex in the go-kart, and Quin & Libby tailing them in the jeep. Fun times!

Happy Birthday Momo

Happy 60th Birthday Momo! It is hard to believe she is 60 years old because she is probably the most young at heart person you'll ever meet. She is a very special woman and we are so grateful to be a part of her life. We love you Momo! Here are the kids being goofy at our little party the night of her birthday.

1. I have an incessant need to twirl my hair. There's a certain section of my hair I twirl, which is on my left side, right under my ear. It's a really bad habit.
2. Kind of obsessed with the house being picked up at all times, can't stand a lot of clutter and dishes have to be done before bed.
3. I'm a shopaholic, I love to buy clothes most of all, especially for my kids!
4. I collect Jim Shore/Heartwood Creek figurines.
5. I go to sleep to a hypnosis cd every night. It is very calming and relaxing.
