We spent the 4th of July relaxing and enjoying one another's company. Jesse and Emily were kind enough to have all of us over to their house. They played Red Rover, tag, hill races, and more with the kids outside. Inside some of us played board games while others played on the Wii. After a bit they coaxed us all outside to join in a game of buddy tag that turned out really fun, minus mom hurting her foot. We had a yummy barbecue for dinner, then headed out to an empty field to set off all the fireworks the guys had gone out and bought that morning...For the guys it was Christmas in July!! The kids held sparklers while the men set off all the real firworks. It was a beautiful show and lots of fun!
