On July 5th we spent the day at Six Flags St. Louis, it was such a hot day that we ended up spending most of it at the water park (Hurricane Harbor). It was fun, but a little crazy with children who can't yet swim. At one point I almost had a heart attack when I couldn't find Quin. While on our way out of the park he had gone ahead with some other family members and I hadn't noticed...Whew, that was stressful. And amazingly among all the people there that day I happened to run into an old high school friend I hadn't seen in years...that was really cool. We all had a blast and loved spending a fun day together in the sun!

After leaving the park to go eat dinner at the nearby Steak 'n Shake, we came back to spend a few more hours at Six Flags and ride a few rides. Since the boys were tall enough, Charlie & I took Drex & Quin on Tony Hawk's big spin ride and it was the best! We didn't know what to expect since they'd never been on a bigger roller coaster ride before. Not too suprisingly Drex was fearless and wanted to go again & again, while Quin on the other hand started crying as soon as we took off. Poor little guy, he is only 3...I hope we didn't scar him for life!
Here we are in line for the ferris wheel
