On July 26th we drove out to Saint George, Utah to celebrate with Charlie's grandparents, Philip & Bernice Blackburn, their 70th wedding anniversary. They were married July 21st, 1938 and had 2 children, Linda Renee and Dean Gordan, Dean is Charlie's father. The celebration was held at The Ledges golf club where a nice dinner was served and a small program was done where Grandpa & Grandma spoke, and Dean & Aunt Renee said a few words. Then they played a slideshow of pictures and sent everyone home with a copy of the it, which was really nice. It was really great to be there and get to meet so many of Charlie's cousins and relatives I'd never met and he hadn't seen in years. 70 years together sure is a long time...Congratulations Grandpa & Grandma Blackburn...we love you!
