Soccer Time!
It was kind of a fluke that we put Drex in soccer this year. I was swimming with my friend Jill when we started talking about her kids and their plans and how she & her husband were coaching soccer again this year. She said, "Hey, we have one more spot on the under 6 team if Drex wants to play!" Drex was there so I asked him if he wanted to play and of course he said YES!! Jill's son (one of Drex's best friends) is also on the team so Drex was super excited to be on the same team with him. Their team has been awesome and haven't lost a game yet. There are 3 games left of the season (8 total). Drex had never played soccer before this but has improved a lot since he started and loves playing and being a part of a team! Here are a few photos of him at his first practice. You can tell we're rookies, I kinda forgot you are supposed to wear soccer socks over the shin guards and so I hadn't bought any yet...oops!

Drex is a great little soccer player. I enjoy having him on our team. Noah is way excited to have him on the team too. He always makes sure he asks if Drex will be there, and the answer is always yes! I'm so glad he wanted to play! You never know, we may have two soccer stars in the making!
